Extended Partnership with Devonport City Strikers
KPI Sports and Devonport City Strikers have agreed to extend their current partnership agreement for two years. This confirms KPI as the exclusive teamwear and casual apparel supplier to the club until 2024.
Devonport City Strikers is a powerhouse of the Tasmanian football scene with a rich history. The club is enjoying a fine period with its Men's side dominating the National Premier Leagues Tasmania competition in recent years, winning the league in four of the last six seasons. It has also established itself on the national stage with appearances in the final rounds of the FFA Cup in 2016, 2018 and 2021. The Strikers also gained entry to the state's Women's Super League in 2020 and have quickly become a competitive team in the league. Junior football is also thriving with the number of young players growing consistently each year.
A progressive board has been able to improve facilities at the club's Valley Road home in recent times with the installation of all-weather pitches, increased seating capacity for spectators at the ground as well as the building of female-friendly changing rooms. Devonport City's board is also aiming to be named as an official training base for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
